About Us

The AeroVigilance Mission

What is Counter Uncrewed Aircraft Systems or Counter-UAS? The terminology for this emerging security specialty varies in the industry. Examples include Counter-Drone, Counter-UAV, Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems, Counter Unmanned Systems, and Counter Uncrewed Aircraft Systems, to name a few. In simple terms, Counter-UAS can be defined as the deployment and use of legally authorized technologies and techniques to provide airspace awareness and security to critical infrastructure, assets, and mass gatherings.

Counter-UAS is not just the deployment of authorized technology, it can also include developing policies and procedures, training your personnel on UAS threats, Counter-UAS operations, and “left of launch” measures that can be implemented to reduce the drone threat.

AeroVigilance is a US-based Counter-UAS training and consulting company that is available to assist customers worldwide. AeroVigilance has real-world Counter-UAS operations and training experience to share with customers and clients.
